You will be given a wristband, and an overview of the map & schedule so you can make your way throughout the festival.

About Psychedelics in the Beehive
Now in our fifth year, we’ve evolved from a conference into a dynamic and growing downtown festival. This year's event, held on January 30th & 31st, transforms downtown Salt Lake City into a vibrant hub of art, entertainment, and education, inviting attendees to explore new perspectives on psychedelics through a blend of learning and creative expression.
Our festival continues to connect Utah’s diverse plant medicine community, bringing together experts, leaders, business owners, and newcomers to collaborate and choose their own path in exploring psychedelics.
What to Expect
Attendees can look forward to a rich program featuring keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities. The event creates a welcoming space for sharing knowledge, experiences, and practices related to plant medicine and psychedelics. Ticket holders have access to all daytime & evening events. But Saturday night you get to choose between live theater performance of ‘Drunken Shakespeare: The Tempest’ with Mad King Productions or a live music experience with Ruby Chase

The Time Travelers Lounge
hosted by SLC Lunatics is a cozy, interactive hideaway where timelines blur and creativity lands in the present. Drop in to write a letter to your past self (with guided prompts and the optional “Postal Box of Paradoxes”), make zines and postcards from other eras, map your personal timeline, craft intention tags, collage from the future, and send postcards to friends and family.
Throughout the day, catch short live performances from SLC Lunatics and friends—spoken word, music, micro-plays, and surprise cameos—plus storytelling and an open mic for brave voices and curious hearts. Expect liquid light projection, a little “Black Jack,” and plenty of space for painting, play, and expressive experimentation.

Dr. Bia Labate is committed to the protection of sacred plants while amplifying the voices of marginalized communities in the psychedelic science field. As a queer Brazilian anthropologist based in San Francisco, Her work focuses on plant medicines, drug policy, shamanism, ritual, religion, and social justice. She is the Executive Director of the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines and serves as a Public Education and Culture Specialist at the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).
Taylor earned her Juris Doctor degree in May 2022. She is currently associated with Terrapin Legal, a firm dedicated to supporting ethical participants in the emerging legal psychedelics ecosystem. TERRAPIN Ms. Loyden's work focuses on navigating the complex legal landscapes surrounding psychedelics, providing guidance to individuals and organizations striving to make a positive impact in this rapidly evolving field.

Hi, I’m Dr. Cari Oneal, holistic practitioner, Sex and Relationship Positive Sexual Wellness Coach, and sex educator for clients around the world. I help people overcome troublesome beliefs and behaviors related to sex and intimacy. The emphasis of my work is sexual health, awareness, education, and coaching on sex-positive topics and behaviors. I help people find and master their authentic voice and sexual behaviors so that they feel confident about who they are and what they are creating.
Shandell As one of our Sunday Ceremony facilitators, Shandell guides participants through a transformative ketamine journey interwoven with breathwork, meditation, and sound healing. DJ Manifesto possesses a unique sense of sonic elevation, seamlessly blending the graceful elegance of violin strings with the hypnotic rhythms of bass-driven melodic electronic music. His love for music began at age five when he first picked up a violin, and by age 11, he was mastering turntables. This distinctive style has led him to perform over 1,500 shows worldwide in some of the most prestigious venues, sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Paul Van Dyk, Nadia Ali, and Victor Calderone.
Started in the summer of '22, Mel Soul And The Heartbeat is a free flowing band with the goal for every performance to bring the heart and soul in every song. Ranging from folk and blues tones to rocking licks to reggae power affirmation songs, this band is ready for any crowd who wants to feel connected to the gift of music.
Talia is an activist-musician who has laid a loyal local foundation in Salt Lake City clubs for over a decade, and later made her name on national tours and jam festivals from coast to coast. Keys’ vintage ethos, as well as her trademark fire and brimstone stage presence, are an amalgam of her journey, identity, influences; a new twist on the rock n’ roll troubadour singing songs of struggle and ultimately, triumph. Lessons is a robust sound document that reflects a determined songwriter, principled artist and electrifying frontperson. In various band iterations over the years, Keys has supported an eclectic array of cultural stalwarts across multiple generations, including the Indigo Girls, Lukas Nelson and The Promise of The Real, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Michael Franti, and Thievery Corporation, among others.
